Our Company

We are owners, developers and managers of niche projects on the field of hospitality and real estate development. Our ideas are built on the creative process of creating unique concepts with a great emphasis on urban lifestyle and design. We encourage collaborations and our projects are deeply rooted in their location and heritage.

TEAM

Péter Baldaszti
CEO & Founder

Peter is responsible for the strategy, the branding, funding and the development of our projects. He has started his hospitality career 4 years ago and he has been recognized as a revolutionary entrepreneur of the industry. Now he is moving forward into the hotel and real estate development business. He believes in hard work and he is a never-ever-give-up guy. He is continuously trying to be better and is expecting of everyone the same.

Máté Kovács
COO & Partner

Máté is responsible for the spotless operation of the company, and supports the development project from the operation angle - boosts sales and cuts costs where it is possible. After he graduated with a financial and organisation development degree and tried the taste of the corporate life, he jumped ship to the SME sector of his beloved food&beverage industry. He quickly became partner at Baldaszti Group through his fast learning skills and get-things-done attitude. He believes in efficiency and that impossible does not exist.

Gergő Devecseri
Head of Marketing

Gergő is responsible for the development and the execution of the marketing communication strategy as the organization’s head of marketing. He dealt with event management and strategic planning for three years at one of the largest Hungarian advertising agency. He is the founder of Cultivo that became one of the most important cultural and business event for young professionals in Hungary. Forbes named him one of the 30 most talented young Hungarian under 30.  

szandra Sándor
Creative director

Sandra is the creative director  of the team who as an external advisor supports  the development of our  brand and design strategy. . She graduated from the London College of Fashion, ans she is the founder of  Nanushka which is the first hungarian fashion brand that achieved worldwide success. Lucy Liu, Selma Blair, Charlize Theron and Taylor Swift wears the clothes of Nanushka, that are available in several cities of the world from Tokyo to New York.

Réka Steiner
F&B Director

Réka is responsible for the operational management, including procurement, HR and front of house services. She has worked for Baldaszti Group since the founding of the company.  She previously has acquired her professional experience in London at the two Michelin-starred Galvin restaurant. After returning to Budapest she has played a key role in the opening of the new venues of our company.

krisztián huszár
EXECUTIVE Chef at ZONA 

Krisztián is the chef of ZONA, the entire restaurant was built around his outstanding talent. .  He was chosen the chef of the year in 2011. He has earnt his professcional cooking skills  in Martín Berasategui’s three Michelin-starred restaurant in Basque country. Gault Millau ranked ZONA among the top 3 restaurants in Hungary twice in a row as the result of Krisztián’s passionate work.

ZONA BUDAPEST

ZONA Budapest is a casual fine dining restaurant established in 2012, where one’s senses are seduced through great food, wine, excellent service and and extraordinary design without having to behave rigid and ceremonious. ZONA is found a few steps from Chain Bridge, on the Buda-side bank of River Danube. The chef of ZONA, Mr. Krisztián Huszár brings on his re-interpreted Hungarian dishes and flavours from Oriental and Basque cuisine. According to the Gault & Millau 2015 edition ZONA gained 17 points and 3 hats, along with the michelin starred Onyx and Costes restaurants.

CAFE NOMURI

Cafe Nomuri is a third wave coffee shop in the downtown of Budapest. Our simple concept is founded on the values of respecting the ingredients we are working with: the transparency of the origins of our beans, an established relationship with both local and international roasteries and the tender way we are making, brewing and serving our coffees. Cafe Nomuri is the first one of a row of new venues opening as integrated part of the NOMURI Hostel.

NOMURI CLUB & BAR

Nomuri outgrew from from the ruin pub culture of Budapest. The club was housed in an old palace on Andrássy avenue but it had to relocate due to the poor conditions of the building. Nomuri found its new home in downtown Budapest at 15 Sas utca. In regard to the concept of Nomuri it is the melting pot of the city that all at once gives home to great parties for hundreds of guests and to underground artistic exhibitions. In recent years we have hosted a number of world renowned performers, among others the world famous Japanese-French fashion brand Kitsuné also organized their first Central-Eastern European party at Nomuri.

+1 NOMURI LIFESTYLE HOSTEL

This is a new project of Baldaszti Group.  We are developing lifestyle hostel concept with 230 beds at 15 Sas utca in a former office building where our club has already found its place on the groundfloor. The project is based on our idea which states the travelers of the new generation deserve a wonderful hotel experience which matches their lifestyle and which is absolutely affordable.
